Sarah and Adam’s Sussex wedding at Court Garden Barns

I am a great believer in the saying that, ‘you can tell a person by the company they keep.” I see this every week as a Sussex wedding photographer. Lovely people have lovely friends and family and this is one of the many reasons I love my job! Sarah and Adam are prime examples of this, not only here they great fun but so where their wedding party were a complete blast!!

Court Garden Barns the secret Sussex wedding venue.

Sarah wore the most stunning Naomi Neoh dress, with a simple and elegant flower crown and looked incredible! Now you mention it Adam scrubbed up pretty well:-) Their Sussex wedding ceremony was at the beautiful Hurstpierpoint church where Sarah and her dad were accompanied down the aisle by Sarah’s 3-year-old twin nieces who almost stole the show!! One of my favourite shots of the day is the confetti shot as they came out of the church. A top tip is if you are planning confetti, go BIG!!! You can never have too much confetti!!

With their wedding reception at Court Gardens Barn in Ditchling, a beautiful early nineteenth-century Sussex Barn wedding venue nestled at the foot of the South Downs. I have lived locally for many years and had not heard of this wonderful small vineyard and its Barn, Decorated with festoon lighting, paper lanterns and elegant rustic flowers, the table favours were hangover rescue kits, which I am sure came in handy the following day. The courtyard was filled with hay bales and blankets. We wandered off after the wedding breakfast into the venue’s vineyards.

With a live band and a wood-fired pizza van for evening food, everyone danced the night away.
