As you may know I go married at Upwaltham Barns and it and the people there hold a very special place in my heart, so when Simon the chef with Nibbles2Nosh, the Caterers to Upwaltham Barns and his beautiful bride Sammy ask me to be their wedding photographer I was blown away!! It was a truly magical day!! The main barn looked amazing with a banqueting layout, with a 1000 handmade origami birds, made by Sammy’s brother decorating one wall. Beautiful flowers by Spriggs Florist and a friend had made the most incredible cake stand!! Not only getting married at a Upwaltham Barns wedding but being lucky enough to work there regularly  I know the team/family well, which made photographing the day even more fun!

With the ceremony at the Upwaltham church, opposite the barns and the drinks reception in Simons’s Grandmother’s mind-blowingly dreamy walled garden at the barns. One of my favourite details of the day was the extensive Gin and Tonic bar at the drinks reception. After dinner, we went for a wander up the hill behind the barns and had some fun with some smoke grenades. Days like this make my job the best in the world!!!!!
